02/08/2009 - Oklahoma City, OK (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Kevin Durant scored 39 points on 16-of-25 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds, as Oklahoma City held on for a 116-113 win over Sacramento at the Ford Center.
Jeff Green and Nick Collison both had 15 points for the Thunder, who have won two games in a row. Nenad Krstic contributed 14 points off the bench, while Russell Westbrook finished with 11 points, eight assists and seven boards.
Beno Udrih made 11-of-14 shots, including a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc, to pace the Kings with 29 points. John Salmons totaled 23 points and dished out 11 assists, while Kevin Martin also poured in 23 for Sacramento, which has lost 11 of its last 12 games.
Despite being outplayed throughout most of the first half, the Kings clawed back in the third quarter. Down by 13 to start the frame, Udrih knocked down a trey from the right corner to trim the deficit to three at 70-67 with about five minutes remaining.
Sacramento trailed 84-80 at the end of the third, but then grabbed the lead with a 6-0 run to begin the final quarter. The clubs proceeded to go back-and- forth, not allowing either one to establish any momentum. After Salmons hit a driving layup to put the Kings up 104-102 with about 3 1/2 minutes left on the clock, Oklahoma City answered with an 8-0 spurt and led 110-104 following Durant's last basket of the game.
With a defender in his face, challenging the shot, Salmons nailed a three- pointer to pull Sacramento within two at 115-113 with 36.9 seconds to go. Collison then missed a pair of free throws with 12.9 seconds remaining, giving the Kings an opportunity to tie or win the contest.
Following the timeout, Francisco Garcia opted to go for the win, but his three-point try was off the mark and the Thunder escaped with the win.
With the score deadlocked at 16-16, Oklahoma City took control of the game with a 28-10 burst that bridged the first two quarters. A reverse layup by Durant stretched the lead to 29-19, and the Thunder carried a 34-23 advantage into the second quarter.
Joe Smith knocked down a shot 3 1/2 minutes into the frame, capping the run and giving the Thunder a seemingly comfortable 44-26 cushion. The home team maintained a 59-46 lead at the break.

Let’s take a look at the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds and the betting line and figure out where they’ve been and where they are going to go.
MySportsbook.com put up the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds late on Sunday night with the Pittsburgh Steelers favored by 6.5 points and a total betting line at 47.5 points.
Since then, however, the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds have seen a good deal of movement and you’ll want to be on top of where they are likely to move to make sure you get the best line value for the big game.
Since opening, the Super Bowl 2009 betting lines went to Steelers -7 in the span of roughly 3 hours but were quickly bought back down just minutes later to 6.5 again.
After that is took about 5-6 more hours before the betting line went back to -7 where it has sat for a while now and is likely to remain. The opening betting total of 47.5 was bet down right after the line became available and went to 47 within minutes.
Roughly a day later it has been bet even further down to the 46.5 tally it currently is set at.
Roughly 60% of gamblers seem to be on the Cardinals here so the point spread will be bet down and a 7.5 would not last very long at all with many taking the early 6.5 in hopes of finding a potential middle in the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds.
If you like Arizona and see a 7.5, I’d take it as soon as possible because it’s unlikely to last. For Pittsburgh backers, the -7 might be the best you’ll be able to find but a 6.5 is definitely possible close to game time.
Regarding the Super Bowl 2009 betting odds for the total, most tracked gamblers are already on the over and with those who took the under 47.5 already securing a middle on the over 46.5, the only way I see it moving is back up to 47 so if you like the over, I’d recommend betting now.
